Sherm has been working with stocks for over 40 years. He has taught many people about stock making and checkering. As a result he developed an understanding of the tips, tricks and methods that beginners need to know to become successful. With that in mind he wrote two books for anybody getting started in stock making and/or checkering.

You can use these books to bypass common mistakes and learn good techniques from day one. Like any skill, practice makes perfect. Both books are heavily illustrated with photographs to support the text and make it easy to understand.
